Synopsis: The video to the song ‘Flow’ by ‘Grebe’ is a contemplative counterpoint to its lyrics ‘spur of the moment’ invitation to intimacy, depicting a life cycle within an exploration of visual artificial intelligence.
Throughout the video, we see our protagonist aging from cradle to grave. Visual artefacts that might indicate the use of artificial intelligence image generation (like glitches or inconsistencies) are intentionally left in. While referencing the state of artificial intelligence at the time the video was made on technical level, they also represent the ‘dreams and imaginations’ of the machines that envisioned the various iterations of the protagonists stages of life, as a placeholder for the observer, thus slightly breaking the very emotional and personal subject of the song with glitch like visual artefacts.
