Synopsis: Freebird is the story of Jon, a boy who grows up with his mom after his dad walks out on them after finding out he will be born with Down Syndrome. We see 30 years in his life as he goes to school, overcomes bullies, falls in love and grows old enough to now take care of his mother. Jon unwillingly ends up proving to his dad on how much he missed out on.
