Synopsis: A beetle is about to enjoy a great meal until he is disturbed by the sounds of a cicada. As he walks angrily towards the sound, he discovers a happy cicada walking by. After a brief interaction, the cicada sadly walks away towards a pond. At the pond, he meets a lovely cricket who tries to make him feel better, however, this upsets the beetle and he approaches them. The cricket is not having it and defends herself and the cicada because he is being a bully. The forest then comes to life in support of the cicada and the cricket. The cicada sees the support he is given and along with the cricket, who helps the cicada see that it is ok to be himself, make their sounds. The beetle becomes enraged and flies away while the cicada, cricket and the rest of the forest make happy music into the sunset.
